The 34th edition of the Doha International Book Fair (DIBF) took place last month at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC), running until May 17 under the theme “From Engraving to Writing.”
Inaugurated on May 8, 2025, by Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, the event marked the largest edition in the fair’s history, featuring 522 publishing houses from 43 countries. Palestine was honoured as this year’s guest of honour.
