Qreate: What inspired your transition into fitness content creation alongside being a chef?
My journey into fitness content creation came from my own transformation story. I was once around 120 kg, and through discipline, proper nutrition, and training, I transformed myself to 77kg also made myself both physically and mentally fit. Being a chef helped me understand food deeply, but fitness taught me how food can heal and improve life when used correctly. As a result to my dedication i won gold medal in Qatar Culinary professional Chef competition on April 2024 also won gold medal in power lifting in Qatar Strong man on 2025 .My wife, Simran Saha, who is also passionate about fitness, became a great support system. Her achievements on sports and knowledge on diet and fitness was an add on to my journey. Together, we started Fit Bong Chef in August 2025 as a joint venture to inspire people that healthy living is achievable without giving up good food.
Qreate: How do you balance great food with healthy living in your daily lifestyle?
For us, balance is the key. Fitness is not about starving yourself or avoiding tasty food completely. As a chef and fitness enthusiasts, I believe healthy food can also be delicious and satisfying. We focus on understanding macros, micros, portion control, and cooking techniques that make meals healthier without losing flavor. Our daily lifestyle includes regular workouts, mindful eating, hydration, and consistency rather than extreme diets. Through Fit Bong Chef, we want to show people that fitness is not only about big muscles — it is about a healthy lifestyle, strong heart health, mental strength, and becoming stronger both inside and out.
Qreate: What is the biggest misconception people have about fitness and nutrition?
One of the biggest misconceptions is that fitness is only for people who want six-packs or huge muscles. In reality, especially in Qatar where many people balance busy work schedules, family gatherings, and social lifestyles, fitness is about maintaining energy, improving overall health, and enjoying a better quality of life. Another common misconception is that healthy eating is boring or expensive. In Qatar, where rich and flavorful food is a big part of the culture, many people think healthy meals mean giving up taste. Through my experience as chef, i have learned that healthy food can still be delicious, satisfying, and affordable by using balanced ingredients and smart cooking methods. At Fit Bong Chef, we encourage people to focus on consistency, balanced nutrition, and realistic lifestyle habits that fit into everyday life in Qatar, rather than following extreme diets or intense workout routines that are difficult to maintain.
Qreate: What advice would you give to people beginning their fitness journey?
My advice is to start small but stay consistent. Many people try to change everything overnight and lose motivation quickly. Focus first on building healthy habits like regular walking, simple workouts, proper sleep, hydration, and mindful eating. Do not compare your journey with others because every body is different. Fitness is a long-term lifestyle, not a temporary challenge. Most importantly, understand that progress takes time. My wife Simran and I always encourage people to enjoy the process rather than chase perfection. If you stay disciplined and patient, small daily improvements eventually create life-changing transformations.
Qreate: What are your future goals for Fit Bong Chef and your coaching platform?
Our vision for Fit Bong Chef is to build a strong and supportive fitness community that reaches people across different countries. Currently, we already have clients from India, Qatar, and Jordan, and we want to continue expanding globally. Starting from the end of June, my wife Simran and I are launching customized diet plans and personal training programs designed to help people achieve realistic and sustainable fitness goals at very affordable prices. Diet plans will start from 150 QAR per month and coaching from 199 QAR per month.
