The Samla International Race has announced a series of strategic partnerships as it gears up for its highly anticipated 2026 edition on 24 January, reinforcing its position as one of Qatar’s most prestigious and challenging sporting events. The agreements were formalized during an official signing ceremony attended by partner representatives and members of the media.
For the upcoming race, sponsorship deals have been confirmed with Katara Hospitality, Qatar Insurance Group, Defender – Al Fardan, and Mazzraty, with Red Bull named the official beverage partner. Additionally, a strategic collaboration with Visit Qatar and ASICS positions the global sportswear brand as the official technical partner, ensuring athletes benefit from high-performance support throughout the competition.
The signing ceremony also offered a sneak peek of the 2026 course, designed to test the endurance of participants across six demanding stages: a 3-km open-water swim, 21-km run, 22-km mountain bike ride, 4-km kayaking stage, a second 22-km cycling segment, and a final 28-km run to the finish line.

Commenting on the partnerships, Jassim Al Mahmoud (CEO of Visit Qatar) highlighted the race’s alignment with Qatar’s strategy to promote sports tourism, while Azzam Al Mannai, CEO of the Samla Race Organising Committee, described the agreements as a key milestone that will elevate the race experience for athletes and spectators alike.
