This February, The Ned Doha welcomes one of Italy’s most beloved culinary figures, Nonna Silvi, for an intimate three-day dining experience at Cecconi’s Doha, running from 11–13 February 2026.
Known to millions around the world for her unapologetic authenticity, thick Florentine accent and deeply traditional approach to cooking, Nonna Silvi, born Silvana Bini, rose to international fame after her grandson began filming her baking and cooking at the family’s Tuscan bakery. Today, she has amassed more than two million followers, capturing hearts with simple recipes, candid storytelling, and a steadfast refusal to engage with influencer culture in favour of card games with her sisters and life behind the bakery counter.
For this exclusive Doha residency, Nonna Silvi brings the recipes and spirit of her home kitchen to Cecconi’s, guiding the restaurant’s culinary team through a menu inspired by slow Sundays, family tables and dishes cooked not to impress, but to nourish and bring people together.
Throughout the three days, Nonna Silvi will be present for both lunch and dinner service, greeting guests and creating an atmosphere that reflects the warmth, generosity and quiet joy of Italian home cooking. The menu showcases traditional cicchetti, hand-crafted pasta dishes, comforting secondi and classic desserts, each rooted in memory, simplicity and honest ingredients.
