The 22nd edition of the Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition (DJWE) concluded on 3 October at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC), following six days of exceptional jewellery, watchmaking and contemporary design. Held under the patronage of H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, the exhibition welcomed more than 34,000 visitors.
Organised by Qatar Tourism, brought to audiences by Visit Qatar and officially sponsored by QNB Group, DJWE 2026 featured 49 exhibitors, more than 500 brands and participants from 30 countries, bringing together leading international maisons, regional houses, Qatari designers and emerging talents. The exhibition also featured dedicated Turkish and Indian pavilions, alongside first-time GCC participants from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
Local creativity remained at the heart of the exhibition, with the Qatari Designers Pavilion showcasing six homegrown talents supported by Scale7. Among the edition’s notable additions was Christie’s, bringing its expertise in art, jewellery and collecting to Doha as part of the newly launched DJWE Studio.

A new platform for discovery

The DJWE Studio presented a programme of workshops, panel discussions and masterclasses, attracting 350 participants throughout the exhibition. Christie’s led sessions exploring jewellery and watch markets, design trends and collecting behaviour, alongside guided jewellery and watch tours. A Mentorship Moment connected emerging designers with industry leaders, while a two-day certificate course explored 150 years of art and the relationship between art, jewellery and watches in the 20th century.
Qatar Development Bank, through Scale7, delivered a five-part entrepreneurship series supporting Qatar’s local design community, while Visit Qatar, in partnership with the Picasso Institute, hosted influencer talks and a jewellery masterclass programme.

Jewellery with a purpose

DJWE 2026 also brought craftsmanship and philanthropy together through a new two-year collaboration between Education Above All (EAA) Foundation and New York jewellery house David Webb. The partnership features a limited-edition collection, including David Webb’s iconic Nail and Oval Link designs, reimagined in rose gold and inspired by Qatar’s sunsets and desert landscape. Proceeds will support EAA Foundation’s work with buildOn to expand access to primary education for out-of-school children.

Looking ahead

With its 22nd edition now concluded, DJWE has already set the date for its next chapter. The 23rd edition will take place from 26 April to 1 May 2027 at DECC, continuing the exhibition’s two-decade journey as a meeting point for global maisons, collectors, designers and luxury enthusiasts.
