Visit Qatar is set to transform August into a month of shopping, dining and entertainment with the launch of the Hala Summer Shopping Festival, running from 1 to 31 August 2026 as part of its wider Hala Summer campaign.
Bringing together some of Qatar’s leading shopping destinations and restaurants from the Taste of Qatar network, the festival offers exclusive retail promotions, special dining menus, discounts and value-added experiences for residents and visitors throughout the month.
Participating destinations include Place Vendôme, Doha Festival City, Mall of Qatar, Villaggio, City Center, Landmark, Doha Mall, West Walk, Gewan, Hyatt Plaza and Al Hazm, creating a citywide celebration that highlights Qatar’s retail and hospitality sectors during the summer season.
Beyond shopping and dining, the festival features an extensive lineup of family-friendly entertainment, including complimentary children’s activities, themed experiences, live performances and interactive challenges. The programme is designed to create an enjoyable experience for families, allowing parents to take advantage of seasonal offers while children participate in dedicated entertainment.
Visitors who spend a minimum of QR 200 at participating venues can enter the festival’s raffle promotion by presenting their stamped receipt at designated redemption booths. Throughout August, four weekly raffle draws will be held at Doha Festival City, Mall of Qatar, Place Vendôme and Villaggio, with winners receiving a variety of prizes, including five cars.
The Hala Summer Shopping Festival forms part of Visit Qatar’s broader Hala Summer campaign, which continues until the end of September with a diverse calendar of events, promotions and experiences aimed at positioning Qatar as a leading destination for family entertainment, shopping, hospitality and dining during the summer months.
