Hyatt Regency Oryx Doha is proud to announce that it has achieved Green Key certification, marking an important milestone in the hotel’s ongoing commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainable hospitality.
The certification reflects a hotel-wide approach to sustainability spanning environmental management, energy and water conservation, waste reduction, responsible procurement, food and beverage practices, guest engagement and colleague involvement.
As part of this commitment, Hyatt Regency Oryx Doha has introduced and strengthened a range of operational practices, including measures to improve energy efficiency in guest and meeting spaces, monitor food waste, support responsible sourcing, reduce unnecessary paper use and encourage more sustainable practices among suppliers and partners. The hotel also provides vegetarian and vegan dining choices as part of its food and beverage offering.

The achievement also reflects the collective contribution of colleagues across the property, with sustainability embedded across departments and supported through training, operational procedures and ongoing awareness initiatives. Hyatt Regency Oryx Doha will continue to build on these efforts while encouraging guests, colleagues, suppliers and partners to take part in its sustainability journey.
“Achieving Green Key certification is an important milestone for Hyatt Regency Oryx Doha and a recognition of the collective effort of our colleagues across the hotel. Responsible hospitality is an ongoing journey, and this achievement strengthens our commitment to making responsible business practices that reduce our environmental impact while continuing to deliver the experience our guests expect from us,” said Patrick Baptist, General Manager of Hyatt Regency Oryx Doha.
The Green Key certification will also be incorporated into the guest journey, with information about the hotel’s sustainability initiatives made accessible across relevant hotel and digital touchpoints, helping guests learn more about and participate in the property’s sustainability initiatives.
