Qreate caught up with the founder, Bianca Blanc to talk about inspiration, entrepreneurship and the stories behind some of Bianca’s most memorable flavours.
Qreate: What do you hope people feel after the first bite of Bianca’s Icecream?
Bianca: Ice cream should offer more than just great flavour; it should create a moment of happiness. Life can often be busy and demanding, and I want every scoop to provide a brief escape filled with comfort, nostalgia and excitement. Whether it reminds someone of childhood, becomes part of a family outing or simply brightens their day, that’s the experience we hope to create. For us, Bianca’s Icecream isn’t just about dessert; it’s about creating memories that people want to relive time and time again.
Qreate: How do you balance classic favourites with new flavours?
Bianca: We believe innovation works best when it’s built on familiarity. While our classic flavours remain favourites for many of our customers, we also enjoy introducing creative combinations that surprise and delight. The key is to use premium ingredients and ensure every new flavour has a purpose and a story behind it. When people trust the quality of your products, they’re naturally more open to trying something different, and that’s what allows us to keep evolving while staying true to who we are.
Qreate: When did Bianca’s Icecream become more than just an ice cream brand?
Bianca: One of the most rewarding moments has been seeing customers return with their families, friends and even visitors from overseas. When people choose our ice cream for birthdays, celebrations or simply recommend us to others, you realise you’ve become part of their lives. Those moments showed us that Bianca’s Icecream had grown beyond being a place to enjoy dessert—it had become part of people’s traditions, celebrations and cherished memories, and that’s something we never take for granted.
Qreate: What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned as an entrepreneur?
Bianca: One of the greatest lessons has been understanding that consistency is everything. Customers place their trust in your brand and expect the same quality every single time they visit. Achieving that requires strong systems, attention to detail, and making difficult decisions behind the scenes that people rarely see. Those experiences have shaped my leadership by teaching me to prioritise long-term excellence over short-term success and to build a business that can continue growing while maintaining its standards.
Qreate: If your journey became an ice cream flavour, what would it be?
Bianca: It would be Swiss Chocolate & Honey Almond. Swiss chocolate reflects my roots and my appreciation for craftsmanship, quality and tradition. Honey and almonds represent growth, resilience, and the journey of building something meaningful from the ground up. Together, they create a flavour that is rich, elegant, and comforting, much like my own journey. Every ingredient would represent an important chapter, making it a deeply personal flavour that tells my story in every bite.
Qreate: What inspires a new Bianca’s Icecream flavour?
Bianca: Every flavour begins with inspiration, but that inspiration can come from many places—a person, a destination, a memory or an emotion. Flavours like The Kabayan pay tribute to Qatar’s Filipino community, while Ella’s Chocolate, Don Diego and Mon Amour were inspired by members of my own family. Others, such as Pete’s Peanut Butter Crunch and The Sawadee Ka, celebrate meaningful friendships and unforgettable travel experiences. At Bianca’s Icecream, every flavour is designed to tell a story, evoke an emotion, and create a lasting memory.
