Yasmeen’s menu embraces the spirit of communal dining, beginning with a selection of vibrant starters and mezze. The experience started with the Rocca Salad, a refreshing combination of fresh arugula dressed simply with olive oil and lemon, offering a light and zesty start. The Grilled Halloumi arrived warm and perfectly charred, delivering a delicious balance of salty richness and smoky flavour.
The restaurant’s hummus selections stood out as highlights of the meal. The Hummus with Pine Nuts brought creamy textures and a satisfying nutty crunch, while the Hummus with Meat elevated the classic dish with flavourful sautéed minced meat and pine nuts, adding both depth and richness. The Makanek, Lebanese mini sausages sautéed with lemon and pomegranate molasses, offered a bold and flavourful combination where the sweetness and citrus notes complemented the savoury spices beautifully.

Comforting flavours of the region

Moving into the mains, Yasmeen showcased beloved regional classics prepared with care and authenticity. The Machboos Lamb featured fragrant spiced rice paired with incredibly tender meat that carried rich Gulf-inspired flavours in every bite. The Machboos Chicken offered another comforting classic, with aromatic spices and well-balanced seasoning creating a dish that felt both hearty and satisfying.
A standout from the newly launched menu was the Mixed Grill, a generous platter featuring succulent lamb chops, flavourful kebab, juicy kofta, and perfectly grilled chicken served alongside fragrant rice. The tender, expertly grilled lamb chops were particularly memorable, adding a premium touch to the platter and highlighting Yasmeen’s mastery of traditional charcoal-grilled favourites.

Sweet endings in a relaxed setting

No Levantine dining experience feels complete without dessert, and Yasmeen concluded the evening on a comforting note. The Umm Ali arrived warm and indulgent, combining soft layers of bread pudding with cream and nuts to create a rich and nostalgic finish. The Classic Cheesecake balanced the experience with its smooth, creamy texture and familiar flavours, offering a timeless dessert choice.
Beyond the food itself, Yasmeen’s serene atmosphere played an equally important role in the experience. The relaxed surroundings, welcoming interiors, and focus on togetherness created an environment where guests could truly slow down and enjoy the moment.
